Installing a new fender liner on my Mustang
My Mustang’s fender liner came off while driving and I had to rip it out, so I ordered a replacement two-piece set from eBay. After jacking up the car and placing it securely on jack stands, I removed the wheel to access the fender well. The liner is like a puzzle that only fits one way: the front piece sits high and tucks behind the bumper area, while the rear piece connects in the middle. I had to trim some sections with scissors to get the proper fit. The key is having the right retaining clips - I bought a $20 assortment on Amazon with different sizes and the installation tool included. After figuring out which holes lined up with which clips, I secured everything in place. The final result is sturdy and professional-looking, protecting the fender well from road debris and water spray.
